Game of Thrones

If you haven't seen the latest episode of Game of Thrones ("The Long Night") then don’t read further.

Ok?

Yeah?

You sure?

Ok, if you’re still here, I don’t want you giving me hell about spoilers.

This isn’t a long post. This ordinarily would be a tweet or two but given the context, I wanted to put a small barrier up to not spoil it for everyone.

Anyway, the last episode saw Arya kicking ass and taking out the Night King (and the army of the dead as a result). It was awesome. I just have a niggling feeling that they’re lulling us into a false sense of security. Somehow, I think the Night King will return in some form before the end. I keep thinking back to a scene in one of the early seasons where Daenerys finds herself in a vision (or something) and she's in the throne room which is in a sorry state and coated in snow.

I'm keen to find out whether this vision was metaphorical or whether it's a sign of things to come?

We'll find out over the next few weeks, I suppose.
