Week notes #22

It's been a while since I last did a weekly update! A few things have happened, not all great so I'd let the updates get pushed to one side for a little while.

A few weeks ago, my Aunt passed away after battling cancer for the last year or so, which kind of left me without the motivation to really write anything. For now, I'll just update you on the comic front and come back next week with a bit more to say.

The comic

As my book is now once again in the category of self-publishing, I'll admit there's been a slight lull in motivation. Without a deadline looming, I've allowed myself a bit of space to work on the final section of the book at a slightly reduced pace. I'm still chipping away, edging towards 100 pages overall, but it's just taking a bit of time.

I've also started to look at colouring Issue 1. Colouring comics isn't something I've done before so that's taking time to get into the swing of too. I'm aiming to get Issue 1 finished by the New Year so I can look to publish early 2021. Will keep you posted on progress on that front.
